History<\/h2>\n

Hope for Youth (H4Y) is a group established to mentor at-risk youth to help them reach their God-given potential. We have received training from the Christian Association of Youth Mentoring (CAYM), which teaches best practices to create a safe, effective, and sustainable mentoring program. Youth are connected with adult role models as mentors. Our founder was involved in a similar ministry in a different state. She has found that people in this community want to help and are excited about what we can do in serving those in our community who are at-risk, oppressed, or downtrodden. This follows the words of Jesus, who said, \u201cIn as much as you did it unto one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me<\/span>\u201d (Matt. 25:40).

\n Biblical Call to Mentor<\/span>\n
     <\/path>\n<\/g>\n<\/g><\/svg><\/span>  A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling<\/span> (Psalms 68:5)

\n Helper<\/span>\n
     <\/path>\n<\/g>\n<\/g><\/svg><\/span>   But\nyou, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in\nhand.
